Owls

While not all owls are large birds, I always wondered where the bigger owls hung out during the day. The barred owl, for example, can be up to 2 feet long with a wingspan of 60 inches! Where are these dudes chilling in broad daylight? Then, suddenly, when the sun starts to sink, your start to the hear hoots in the darkness.

“Who cooks for you?”, hoots the barred owl.

“Oooh-hu”, hoots the eagle owl.

“Screeee”, hoots the barn owl.

“Hooo-uh, hoo-uh, hoo-uh”, rasps the snowy owl.
