Watercolor alone has limited techniques to achieve texture. This is something that interested me about acrylics, and I bought a set of palette knives & cheap acrylic paint hoping to explore that.

Mountains are my favorite landscapes. They are where I almost always choose to go when I travel, and it’s where I want to retreat to when life gets to be too much. In this short collection, I envisioned an unnamed mountainscape, dipped paint on my brush, and went from there.
